Although the temperature may not seem to decline, as we (supposedly) approach Autumn, at Total Control Pro Limited we understand our customers are preparing to engage in a season of exciting exhibition and trade shows! Our marketing strategy intern, Jasmine looks into the best ways of unfolding and grasping the best of these opportunities following advice presented by EasyFairs and Facetime.

In July 2018, EasyFairs and Facetime teamed with the NEC Birmingham to bring entrepreneurs and budding marketing teams together for an opportunity to see how best to use exhibition shows to enhance business growth. It wasn’t just the extensive array of food catering available throughout the day that made the experience worthwhile, but also the ground covered by the presenting team, from a magician and motivational speaker; teaching the art of engaging crowds, to social media experts outlining the key to unfolding your marketing schemes before, during and after the exhibition event.

The following entry will touch on a few top tips I took away and will endorse in designing Total Control Pro’s marketing strategy and stand presence at the Advanced Engineering Show in October 2018, including food bribery!

The statistics don’t lie, Facetime.org.uk have discovered that live events are three times more effective at attracting new clients than print media and in fact 76% of visitors at B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer) exhibitions make new purchasing decisions and have existing ones reinforced, based on the increased positive perception of the brand earned by the brand’s presence at such events.

It is therefore vital to consider the lasting impression you want to leave customers with following the exhibition, do they want to be left inspired? Educated? Sick of free sweets? A new pencil case full of pens that last two minutes? Determined? Facetime reported that “visitors who encounter a brand at a live event think it as 28% more innovative than they did before they attended.”

Ready for exhibition season? Follow Total Control Pro for more tips and tricks!
